The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.

Therapy Approaches

Mindfulness
-Accepting where you are but not settling for it
- Observing your life as it is happening, in the "here and now"
- Noticing thoughts as they arise without the need to buy into or believe them
- Accepting your current situation without judgment or the belief that you are "stuck"
- Allowing feelings to exist without letting them drive your actions, behaviors or beliefs
- Using determination to drive action, not old habits or short-term convenience

- Used in helping clients work through difficult or challenging situations, address mental health concerns, and cope with adverse seasons of life
- Identifying and changing unhealthy thoughts patterns, emotions and behaviors

Relational

- Love Languages and how they can affect our view and approach to meaningful relationships

Cognitive Behavioral
- Focusing on and understanding of how a person's thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes affect their feelings and behaviors
- Focusing on present thoughts and beliefs
- Challenging automatic, and often unwanted, thoughts and reactions
- Gaining insight to new and more beneficial ways of thinking and behaving
- Adjusting perspective and understanding of one's role in their own life, including what is within and outside of our scope of control

Hope is more than an emotion- it's a catalyst for change.

My approach to counseling is shaped by my personal journey, professional experiences, and core belief in the power of empathy and human connection. I view counseling as a collaborative and transformative process where clients are supported in exploring their emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a safe, nonjudgmental space.
My counseling approach includes a person-centered,  integrative, and cognitive-behavioral base, which means I focus on understanding each client as a whole person rather than just their challenges. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing when given genuine understanding, acceptance, and encouragement.
I am a firm believer in the transformative power of hope—hope that change is possible, that growth can come from pain, and that every person has the inner strength to rebuild and move forward.. Through witnessing others overcome adversity—and through my own challenges—I’ve learned that hope is not merely optimism, but a deep belief in one’s potential to find meaning, purpose, and renewal.  In my work, I strive to nurture this sense of hope in each client, helping them recognize their resilience and the possibilities that exist even in difficult circumstances.
When you hold on to hope:
You view obstacles as temporary and solvable rather than permanent setbacks.
You stay motivated to take action even when outcomes aren’t guaranteed.
You inspire others — colleagues, clients, or loved ones — to keep pushing forward too.
